| History | Organ given to city by Cyrus Curtis as a memorial to his music teacher Herman Kotschmar. Additions and new console in 1927. Organ moved back in 1968 remodeling to allow more stage room. Organ lost its 32' Magnaton and lowest 12 notes of 32' Bombarde during auditorium remodeling. New half length 32' Bombarde in 1960's. Organ restored in late 1990's with new 32' Bombard and transplanted 32' Magnaton. New 5 manual console by Austin in 2000. Great Mixture added in 2002. |
