History Organ designed by George Ashdown Audsley; originally intended to be Kansas City municipal organ but city refused to accept organ due to L.A. Art Organ Company bankruptcy. Placed in storage at the close of the exposition. Bought by John Wanamaker and installed in the Grand Court of his Philadelphia store in 1911. Enlarged in 1917 -1928 by Wanamaker organ shop using their own wood pipes and metal pipes by Kimball and Gottfried. Now VI/469.
